Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to SeedDance, an AI content generation platform supporting text-to-video, image-to-video, text-to-image, image editing, upscaling, and related AI features with multiple AI models. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use our service.

Eligibility and Age Requirement (18+)

1. Age: SeedDance is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account or using the service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
2. No minors: Accounts for users under 18 are not permitted. If we learn that an account is used by a minor, we may suspend or terminate it and delete related content.
3. Parental / guardian responsibility: You may not allow minors to access or use your account.

Use of the Service

SeedDance provides users with AI generation tools for video, image, and related media using leading models with safety guardrails (for example Seedance, Kling, Veo, and similar industry models). You agree to use the service in accordance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations, these Terms, and our Acceptable Use Policy.

User Accounts and Registration

1. Account Creation: To access certain features of the service, you need to create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.

2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. User Responsibilities: You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Content and Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided through SeedDance, including but not limited to AI-generated media, platform features, and documentation, is subject to copyright law. The copyright owner of SeedDance is seeddance.ai.

• You acknowledge that you do not own the underlying AI models or intellectual property that makes up the SeedDance service, and you agree to respect the intellectual property rights of seeddance.ai and any third parties.
• You retain ownership of the media you generate using SeedDance, subject to the terms of the underlying AI model providers and applicable law. The core SeedDance platform remains the property of seeddance.ai.
• You are responsible for ensuring that your prompts, uploads, and use of outputs do not infringe third-party rights.

Uploads of Real-Person Materials — Authorization Confirmation

When you upload, reference, or otherwise provide images, videos, audio, or other materials that depict a real person (including yourself or any third party), you confirm and warrant that:

1. You own the materials, or you have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and consents (including from the depicted individual(s)) to upload and use them with SeedDance;
2. Your use will not violate privacy, publicity, personality, or other rights of any person;
3. You will not upload materials of minors for any purpose that would violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
4. You are solely responsible for any claims arising from your uploads or from outputs derived from them.

We may refuse, remove, or disable content where we reasonably believe these warranties are not met.

Protection of Minors

SeedDance has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any sexual, exploitative, or abusive content involving anyone 17 or under (real or fictional). We also prohibit using the service to target, groom, or exploit minors. We may remove content, ban accounts, preserve records as required by law, and report to competent authorities. See the Acceptable Use Policy for details.

Prohibited Activities and AIGC Rules

You agree not to engage in any of the following while using SeedDance. The full content standards are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Six prohibited generation categories

You must not generate, upload, request, or distribute:

1. Pornography / NSFW content
2. Violence / gore content
3. Hate speech
4. Child-unsafe content (CSAM) — zero tolerance
5. Deepfakes / NCII / impersonation — including non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), deceptive deepfakes, and unauthorized likeness misuse of real people
6. Copyright / trademark infringing content

NCII and deepfake prohibition (explicit)

Without limiting the categories above, you must not:

• Create, request, or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including AI-generated or altered intimate depictions of real people without their consent;
• Create or use deepfakes or other synthetic media to impersonate a real person for deception, harassment, fraud, defamation, political manipulation, or any unlawful purpose;
• Remove, obscure, or fake provenance or labeling of synthetic media where disclosure is required by law or platform rules.

Other prohibited activities

• Attempting to reverse-engineer or abuse the underlying AI models
• Interfering with or disrupting the security or performance of the service
• Using the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempting to bypass any security features, safety filters, or credit systems of the service

Reporting, moderation, and response timelines

• Enforcement: We may reject generations, delete content, warn users, suspend or permanently ban accounts, and report illegal activity to authorities, as described in the AUP.
• Reporting: Report violations to support@seeddance.ai with the subject “Content Report”. Include task/content ID or URL, a description, and screenshots if available.
• Moderation: We use automated filters, provider safety guardrails, and human review of flagged or reported content.
• Response timelines (targets):
  • Critical (e.g. CSAM, NCII, terrorism): initial response within 24 hours; resolution target within 72 hours
  • High: initial response within 1 business day; resolution target within 3 business days
  • Medium: initial response within 3 business days; resolution target within 7 business days
  • Low: initial response within 5 business days; resolution target within 15 business days

Privacy and Data Collection

SeedDance collects account, usage, device, cookie, and payment-related data as described in our Privacy Policy. That policy also explains your rights to access, correct, delete personal data, and close your account.

Pricing, Payments, and Refunds

• Prices are subject to change with notice to users
• You agree to pay all charges associated with your selected plan
• Payment terms are based on your selected payment method and plan
• Digital products (including credits and subscriptions) are generally non-refundable once delivered, except as described below and in our Refund Policy

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or is harmful to other users of the service, us, or third parties.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service and disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, seeddance.ai shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless seeddance.ai, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which seeddance.ai operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the service after any changes signifies your acceptance of the new terms.
